Section titled “Importing Judges from CSV”Upload a spreadsheet to add up to 100 judges at once.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- You need Admin or Owner role
- Required permission:
judges:invite - Your CSV file should have columns for judge details (email, name, etc.)
- You should have categories set up first
1. Open the CSV import
Section titled “1. Open the CSV import”Navigate to Judging → Add Judges in the sidebar. Switch to the CSV import mode.
2. Upload your file
Section titled “2. Upload your file”Click Upload CSV and select your file. It accepts .csv files with up to 100 rows.
3. Map your columns
Section titled “3. Map your columns”The importer shows your CSV’s column headers. Match each one to the right field: Email, First Name, Last Name, Category, Division, Phone, Organization, and Notes. Only Email, First Name, and Last Name are required.
If your column headers already match the expected names, they’ll map automatically.
4. Preview the import
Section titled “4. Preview the import”Check the preview table. Rows with problems — missing emails, bad formatting — get flagged in red. Fix those in your CSV and re-upload, or skip them and continue.
5. Run the import
Section titled “5. Run the import”Click Import. The judges appear in your list once processing finishes.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- The importer detects duplicate email addresses automatically. If a judge with that email already exists, the row is skipped.
- Each upload handles a maximum of 100 judges. For larger lists, split your CSV into batches.
- Blank rows in your CSV are ignored.
- Columns you don’t map are discarded — no data gets lost from your existing judges.
