Audit Log
Section titled “Audit Log”Every action in your organization is logged. See who did what, when, and to what.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”You need the org:view_audit_log permission. Owners and Admins have this by default.
1. Open the audit log
Section titled “1. Open the audit log”Click Settings in the sidebar, then click the Audit Log tab. You’ll see a chronological list of every action taken in your organization.
2. Filter by user
Section titled “2. Filter by user”Click the User dropdown. Select a specific member to see only their actions.
3. Filter by action type
Section titled “3. Filter by action type”Click the Action Type dropdown. Choose from Create, Update, or Delete to narrow down the results.
4. Filter by entity type
Section titled “4. Filter by entity type”Click the Entity Type dropdown. Select a category like Forms, Judges, Entries, or others to see actions affecting only that type.
5. Filter by date range
Section titled “5. Filter by date range”Click the Date Range picker. Set a start and end date. The log updates to show only actions within that window.
6. Search the log
Section titled “6. Search the log”Type in the Search field to find specific entries. Search matches against action descriptions, member names, and entity names.
7. Export the audit log
Section titled “7. Export the audit log”Click Export. The current filtered view downloads as a file. Filters you’ve applied carry over to the export.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- Filters stack. You can combine user, action type, entity type, date range, and search to find exactly what you’re looking for.
- The audit log is read-only. Nobody can edit or delete log entries.
- Exports respect your current filters. Set your filters first, then export.
- The log captures actions from all members, including automated actions from the system.
