Assigning Forms to Students

Send forms to specific students with deadlines so you can track who’s done and who’s behind.

Go to StudentsAssignments in the sidebar.

Click New Assignment. This opens the assignment builder.

Select a form from the Form dropdown. Only published forms appear here — drafts won’t show up.

Select which students should receive this assignment. You can pick them individually from the list, or use Select All to assign to everyone at once.

For large faires, use the search bar or filters to narrow down the list before selecting.

Pick a Deadline date. This is when you expect all responses submitted. Students see the deadline on their end and get reminders as it approaches.

Choose a Priority level. Higher-priority assignments appear more prominently in the student portal. This helps when students have multiple forms to complete and you want them to tackle the important ones first.

Click Save. Students can now see the assignment in their portal and start filling it out.

  • Each assignment tracks status per student: Pending (not started), In Progress (started but not submitted), Completed (submitted), and Overdue (deadline passed without submission).
  • You can create multiple assignments for the same form — useful if different groups of students have different deadlines.
  • Editing an assignment after students have started filling it out won’t erase their progress.
  • Check Tracking Submissions to monitor how students are progressing.
